KUKA Roboter presents his Virtual Machine Framework for Windows® to US developers |

| Augsburg, Germany – April 15, 2008 – KUKA, a leading developer and user of real-time extensions for Windows®, exhibits at the Embedded Systems Conference, (ESC) on April, 15-17 in San Jose, CA. showing its new Virtual Machine Framework for Windows®. With its VmfWin, the Virtual Machine Framework for Windows®, KUKA Roboter is offering a very flexible, progressive virtualization technology for embedded solutions running real-time operating system and Windows® on single-core and multi-core systems. As a first implementation KUKA Roboter and his partner IBV are showing QWin®, running QNX® and Windows® XP on the same system.
Following the opportunities offered by new multi-core processors KUKA Roboter used his more than 12 years of experience with his products VxWin® and CeWin® to develop the next generation of its successful product family, the KUKA Virtual machine Framework – VmfWin® -. VmfWin together with the underlying RTOS Virtual Machine - RTOSVM® – is a world-wide unique, sophisticated platform that can host any arbitrary embedded and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) at the same time with Windows® the Microsoft General-Purpose Operating System (GPOS) on a single hardware platform. |
