KUKA is going to centralize all support and sales activities in a new RTOSWin Sales and Support Center in Weingarten, Germany. |

The RTOSWin Sales and Support Center will include all pre-sales and after sales activities of its real-time product family and will be represented by acontis technologies GmbH. Acontis technologies GmbH is already a long-term partner of KUKA and was involved in the development and support of the RTOSWin real-time technology from the beginning. Today, acontis technologies GmbH already is responsible for the customer training and support of the KUKA real-time products and distributes these products in Europe. Representing the new RTOSWin Sales and Support Center, acontis will now take care of the sales activities of KUKA’s RTOSWin real-time products world-wide.
KUKA chose acontis technologies GmbH due its more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of development of embedded systems for industrial automation. Combined with acontis’ extensive expertise in real-time operating systems and real-time virtualization it is guaranteed that all KUKA RTOSWin customers will get the best support.
The new RTOSWin product series is based on the new Virtual Machine Framework technology and will be continually advanced to fulfil world-wide customer requests using RTOSWin in numerous applications. KUKA Roboter itself is using the RTOSWin technology since 1996 in its ultra-high speed robot control systems. |
